Yesterday, Opie and Riley, our two adventurous dogs, accompanied me on the last leg of my trip around the rim of the Devil's Hole region of our grazing permit in the San Rafael Swell. They are such characters! They also keep me on the straight and narrow -- finding the water holes and showing me that game trails that get us to our destination -- our original starting point one year ago at Johnson's Flat.
